Kuban industrial product shipments exceed 135.3 billion rubles in Q1 2025

Industrial enterprises in the Abinsk district, Krasnodar, and Novorossiysk led regional sales.

«According to data from Krasnodarstat, regional manufacturers sold industrial products totaling more than 135.3 billion rubles in the first quarter of this year, marking a modest 3.3% increase compared to the same period in 2024. The largest contributions came from enterprises specializing in machine tool and mechanical engineering, as well as the chemical, pharmaceutical, medical, and light industries. Enterprises in the woodworking and pulp and paper sectors, along with producers of rubber and plastic goods and electrical equipment, have also shown steady growth,» said Vice-Governor Alexander Ruppel.

Ruppel noted that the top three municipalities in the regional rankings remained unchanged. Abinsk district ranked first, with local enterprises shipping products worth over 23.3 billion rubles. Krasnodar came in second, with sales exceeding 16.1 billion rubles, followed by Novorossiysk at 12.5 billion rubles. The top five also included Belorechensk and Timashevsk districts.

As of today, the Krasnodar Region is home to more than 13,300 industrial enterprises, with over 300 of them accounting for the bulk of production and shipments.
